We felt the pain.
Hours lost to manual data gathering, re-keying information, and chasing clients for the same details over and over.
We didn't build Appcelerate from a whiteboard in a tech office. We built it from a desk inside an insurance agency — because we were tired of doing things the hard way.
The problem we lived
Every commercial submission starts the same way. You're chasing the prospect for information. You're re-keying data you already have somewhere else. You're piecing together an application from scratch, formatting an email to an underwriter, and hoping it's complete enough to get a response.
Then you do it again. And again. For every account.
The process is slow, inconsistent, and exhausting — and it's costing your agency real revenue.
We know, because we lived it. We still do.
Who we are
Appcelerate was founded by two insurance agents who got fed up with the status quo. We're not outsiders looking in. We're producers and service agents who handle commercial submissions every single day.
We know what it feels like to lose an hour to data entry that should take ten minutes. We know what it's like to send an underwriter a submission and wonder if it was even good enough to get looked at.
That frustration became a question: why isn't there a better way to do this?
When we couldn't find the answer, we built it.
Why we built it
Hours lost to manual data gathering, re-keying information, and chasing clients for the same details over and over.
No tool existed that was purpose-built for the commercial lines workflow. Everything was generic. Nothing fit how agencies actually operate.
Appcelerate was designed from the ground up by agents, for agents. Every feature exists because we needed it ourselves.
Our mission is simple: give every commercial producer and service agent back the time they're losing to busywork — so they can focus on what actually grows their book.
Built for you
We built this because we believe independent agencies deserve better tools. If you're tired of the same broken process, we built this for you.
